How much does Trip Guard cost?
Trip Guard cost varies 3–6% of the charter price, depending on the mission.
What does Trip Guard protect against?
Trip Guard provides financial protection in the event of AOG — when a covered, unexpected mechanical issue disrupts your charter. Covered events are subject to the Trip Guard terms and conditions.
How much recovery protection do I receive?
Trip Guard provides coverage for increased recovery costs of up to 100% of your original charter price. For example, a $25,000 charter can receive up to an additional $25,000 toward the cost of replacement lift.
What kind of replacement aircraft will I receive?
Replacement aircraft will be a comparable cabin class or larger, subject to availability. Replacement aircraft and crew are required to meet applicable safety standards and are verified prior to departure.
Do I have to accept the replacement aircraft?
No. You remain in control. Vision Air will present the recovery option for your review and approval. You are not required to accept an aircraft that does not meet your needs or standards; however, Trip Guard financial support applies when an approved recovery option is accepted.
