Identification

Bring government-issued photo ID for every adult passenger. For international departures, passports are required, and customs hours are limited at mountain fields — Aspen’s customs window runs roughly 0700–2300.

What can’t fly

Restrictions apply to lithium batteries, certain aerosols, firearms and ammunition, and some sporting equipment. Rules differ by operator and destination — tell us what you’re bringing and we’ll confirm before the day.

Pets

Many operators allow pets in the cabin. Tell us in advance — it affects which aircraft and which operator we put you on.

Weather and mountain airports

Mountain fields close. Aspen is performance-limited and weather-sensitive, with a curfew of roughly 2300–0700. We plan the alternate before departure, not in the air.

Timing

Arrive about 20 minutes before departure for a domestic flight. Short segments under an hour may carry a short-leg fee, and most aircraft carry a daily minimum of 2–3 hours.
